Hi all,

I'm convinced I'm an Aspie. Done tests and everything. How do I go about getting a clinical diagnosis?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

If you are in full-time education then there may be a free educational psychology service who would assess you. You probably need to go to student support / counselling / health centre / disability support, whatever is available.

If you are an adult, then it is more difficult, and depends on the kind of health provision in your locale (like none in the US, etc). Common routes would be through your GP / general doctor or through a psychiatric service if you already have any psychiatric diagnosis (e.g. depression). If money is no object, then a clinical psychiatrist should be able to assess you privately.
