Aspie or not, I think many people see their own "normals" as normal ... so one of the challenges of life is to learn about different kinds of "normal" and to try to sort things out a bit while watching to see what it actually typical ... and that is where people can begin understanding each other a little better and interacting in acceptable ways. For example: It can be normal for anyone to be loud for a moment when something is exciting, and then it is typical for people to remind each other to be quiet after the excitement has subsided. Being paranoid is normal for some people, but it is not typical for people to just always remain silent as a way to be considerate of others.
Does that make any sense?!
