I have a hard time visualizing words and numbers in my mind. When I try, they look deformed or they just wont pop up.
I can picture animals, but I can't picture faces.
This morning, I was doing multiplication, I had a hard to figuring out what 5+4 is.(Carrying)
I just had a hard time concentrating.
Does anyone else have these problems?

I have trouble memorizing numbers, and doing any kind of sum in my head is hard for me. When I read 5+4 in your post, it took me a couple of seconds or so to conclude it with 9 (which is a long time to figure out a sum as easy as that).
Also when I'm reading, say, a magazine and I come across a large figure like 55, 620 I have to stop reading to figure out what the number says, and sometimes I don't read the number at all, and just carry on reading the magazine. My brain seems to shut down at maths.
But I'm good with letters and memorizing words, which is why I'm good at spelling.

I don't have trouble memorizing faces.

I have issues with my "minds eye" as well. I have never been able to handle numbers, they dissolve quicker with concentration. I have trouble putting images together as well, they are always hazy or incomplete. I have trouble with making sounds on demand, but the odd thing is my mind has no trouble when hallucinating although that is not in a controlled fashion. Yes, I have experimented with mind altering drugs. I have wondered in the past if it's some type of Aphantasia, but I have some small ability to use the "mind's eye", but not to the degree described by other people.

Same here, I truly lack the ability to "store" numbered information. For example, if I want to copy a series of numbers I often have to check after every few numbers.

To be clear short term storage problem happens with both numbers and letters. The mind's eye is ineffective, long term memory is not affected as much, although I still have trouble with numbered long term memory. Very bad with remembering dates and time.

Thanks by the way NeurotypicalET! You are indeed correct after closer inspection.
