When I was 12 i went to a friends house. my dad came and picked me up from his house. Later on me and my dad had an argument and he made a comment about me saying "When I came to the door to pick you up you looked lile you were about to burst out in tears." I thougtht that was very strange becaue i was thinking absolutly nothing of the saught. Sure I felt bored but I did not feel sad??????????

Do you think my farther just misread my expression or something?

We are supposed to be the ones that don't get expressions [and yes I am often wrong]. But if I had a hundred bucks for every time my sad was read as happy and vice versa, I would not be broke. Different code books

Actually we can use the wrong expression at times. All throughout my childhood people would ask me 'what's wrong' or 'why's your face like that? (concerned like). I still get it to this this day. People think I'm upset when I might just be thinking.

Try looking at yourself in the mirror when you are bored.

I think my face looks blank when I'm bored. But apparently people think I'm sad, annoyed, angry.

I've had people tell me they could figure out what I was thinking by looking at my face but their guesses were generally wrong.

yeah that used to be a huge problem for me and apparently its still kinda of a problem for me. People will most often think Im sad or anxious when often times Im not. I guess I started learning how to not put on that type of face because I dont get it as much as before.
