Finally it has been absolutely proven that vaccines do NOT cause Autism. To bad so many children had to die before this was conclusively proven.

I am not saying you are wrong, but was there ANY proof that a single child has died due to their parents not getting vaccinations because of autism fears?

There is this: www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/137762.php

These children didn't have to die. If they were vaccinated, they would be alive today instead of dead from measles.

But even that article says that some parents just forgot to get the vaccination or rejected it because "it may be dangerous". I didn't see the word autism in the entire article. Again, I don't completely disagree with the OP, but I don't see anything saying that people being afraid of autism was a major cause of not getting children vaccinated.

It as one of the main causes why don't vaccinate their children, the other being silly religious beliefs and just fear of unknown terrors. The supposed research simply gave a name to one of the unknown terrors for parents. It also gave the parents something to cling to when more reasonable people told them that they are being stupid for not vaccinating their children.

I see a few links being thrown around, and a couple posters saying it's a major cause of parents not getting their children vaccinated, but I haven't read anything yet that suggests that autism risks are a major concern among parents when considering vaccination. One of the links posted even said that in a healthy, well-nourished child death was rare. The only part of the OP's statement I was trying to refute was that "so many children had to die" because of parents being afraid of autism.

I agree with the OP. Every child should get vaccinated. Today's parents have a paranoid and perfectionistic way of thinking.
