I've recently started to understand one of the reasons as to why I'm having problems with socializing.
One day our teacher was absent for 40 minutes. There were only 3 students in class. My classmate, let's call her G, seemed to be upset or angry, I couldn't really tell what was going on, but I guess that's why she asked M to go upstairs to the teacher's room and ask for the teacher (I go to a small school for children with special needs). He went but didn't ask, so I thought as G couldn't go, and M didn't do what he was asked to do, I'd go instead, so I told her that I can go and ask.

For me it was just a logical action, but as I'm having a lot of problems with G overall, I discussed this situation with my mother, who told me that from G's side, based on her overall behavior (which she analyzed through the previous problems from my side of the story), it seemed as if she took advantage of me, and I did what she wants.

Does this happen to you often? For example, like in this situation, you wouldn't even understand that she wanted to be at power over her classmates and engage in the social interaction based purely on logic?

Wow, yeah. I totally didn't guess that. (edit for sense-make) I generally don't, unless it's obvious after a while. Often I don't really care and just want to complete the task, whatever it may be. But, when I do see that something is up, I don't really know what to do about it. :/

It's the same with me. I can see something's going on but I don't understand why and what exactly it suggests. If it's aimed at me, I probably could say I feel uncomfortable or unpleasant, maybe even alarmed or frightened. (edit) Now I just ask people what they meant, what they were trying to imply- but I do that only when I feel that no one is going to yell, as it makes me extremely anxious.

Maybe they shouldn't, but it turns out they can!
