Is time really free? It seems to be a measurement, a unit of some kind, closed off and impossible to alter.

i worked my donkey off from 1980 until 2005, to be able to have this free time. it literally is free time because the work i do now, is for free, i get paid by nobody for my work. and since i have no social life to speak of, this leaves me oodles of more real free time to waste on WP.

I enjoy my free time and I use it to listen to enough Kinks music to make the average NT keel over and die of boredom, and epecially at an early age. :D

What world do you guys live in?! I have very little free time. Everything takes me longer than it takes NTs. I have less free time than they do.

Before I was laid off I would have come home and avoided contact with all people including posting on sites like WP due to being worn out from being around my co-workers for 8 hours.

I have too much free time again but I am still working except it's at home and I am not getting paid for it. Then I managed to find time to still come online but I decided to just have my baby in front of me and problem solved. I am still holding him and I can still feed him as I still do this.

When I wasn't working before, I was always bored so I went to my special interests to pass time. I pretty much did it all day and computer.

You mean because we socialise less?

Yes I can agree to that. I spent some time yesterday with family and it was so different than my usual hang around the house, read up on stuff, talk in forums and try to find something constructive to do.

Even if you work you even got more free time that others spend with friends. I think that's what AspieGuy is talking about.

Why do you say that? Because we're on this message board? There are NTs on message boards.

I have so, so much free time. No one will help me get a job or help me do anything so I just spend it playing video games because I don't know anything else or anything better to do.

I have very little free time right now. It wasn't like that even a year ago, but now I have trouble fitting it all in. I do my socializing online, my attempts at dating, my job searching, and I started a blog that takes several hours a week. I'm happier now that I'm not sitting around, but I'm still trying to find balance and schedule in time to relax.
