a suggestion...

if you're quoting from someone's post, please could people quote the relevant bit rather than the whole thing? sorry if i'm being a moany misery here, but wading through quotes of up to a screenful is difficult and tiring, and means one has to read the whole thing again to see the relevance of the reply, which isn't always obvious.

it's easy enough - copy and paste the germane bit, then type

before it and
after it. or you can reply using "quote" (top right hand corner of post) and delete the bits not needed. see? easy peasy.

m's edit - of course, i typed the quotey bit and it quoted me. sigh perhaps it will work this way...

type "[" then "quote" then "]" at the beginning, then "[/" then "quote" then "]" at the end.
