I hate closing my eyes! Is this an aspie thing? I don't like the sense of not being able to see what's going on around me. I also just am physically unable to keep my eyes closed for long periods of time. Whenever, I am asked to close my eyes, I get kind of anxious. I sometimes just put my head down. I don't mind doing it while falling asleep, however, I can't do it. I don't find it relaxing, I find it straining and tiresome. It also makes me feel a bit dizzy.

Is this an aspie thing?

coming out of left field, this reminds me something i read about ages ago, of a hypnotic regression of a fella who was blind in a previous life, and he had a similar dislike of closing his eyes in his present life.

That sounds less an aspie thing and more of anxious/paranoia thing. when you were little were you ever told to close your eyes by a brother/sister/friend and as soon as you did they hurt you? punched. kicked pulled your pants down as a joke?
