I just recalled a memory of my own toddler daycare. Does this sound Aspergian / autistic to you?

In my first daycare, my parents described it as kids running around wild. I'd guess that also meant noisy. The folks who ran it told my parents that I had severe behavior problems. Since I behaved at home (which was quiet since I had no sibling), my mom didn't believe them and moved me to one that was much calmer, more orderly. The employees at that one said that I was the BEST behaved kid in the whole group!

That made me think about over stimulation of toddlers on the spectrum and the problems that causes. Do you think that's a correct thought or no?

I was lucky enough not to have to go to a toddler daycare. My mum was a full time mother until I was 10 and than she worked at McDonald's for 25 years.

Yes, I definitely think that is a correct thought. I've spent 10 years with a career in child care (from caregiver to manager) and totally agree.
Unfortunately the teachers seem obsessed with pasting every blank space with visual clutter. I'm sure there are other day cares that are more quite and soothing.

sounds about right to me. i have tried to send my kids to daycare and they kept calling me to come get them because they were misbehaving so much. i tried babysitters and they practically run away crying so i am a stay at home mom. works much better that way(for the kids anyways)
