Can medicine work for anxiety if you have Asperger?

I find it helpful for my sensory issues, especially the startle reaction I have to sudden noise or people. I'm still myself, only with a bit less reactions to my worries. I still have my challenges though, so I don't find medication to help with awkwardness and misunderstandings.

I didn't wanna get on medication but I couldn't function anymore without it. It's up to you, if you wanna give it a try. If you don't like it you could always quit taking it.
