I've had this habit of cashing checks in two dollar bills for most of my adult life. I guess I just think they're more practical and should be back in circulation. Dollar coins too.

I've met another guy who does the same thing and he has aspergers too. Anybody else out there have a tendency to find and spend obscure denominations?

 I'm not quite sure, I generally don't have a problem with $ and I don't tend to have find old dollars. So I guess you're checking money might be 1 of your obessions. :o

Not me. I'm afraid to spend obscure denominations. I'm afraid that people won't recognize it.

I separate silver coins in left pocket and copper in my right if I am lucky enough to get a $2 dollar note I tend to save them.

Those Susan B. Anthony dollars used to bug me. We'd get those as change from a bill exchanger to eat lunch when I worked night shifts. They were only useful in a couple of places and so easy to lose. Also, Canadian coins are an early version of spam. They don't work anywhere, so you just pass them along from one unsuspecting person to the next one.
