I love socializing. I love people. I love the variety, I love the feeling of a well spoken conversation. AS, however, takes a bit of this away from me. That is the only thing I dislike about AS. The hindrance of socializing. There's just so much I can get out of a conversation that I can`t get anywhere else.

Anyone else the same?

(Sorry for the short post, I am not good at making them long.)

I'm a big fan of socialisation, drives me mental that finances limits this for me right now.
There are times when I get stressed about the prospect of socialising or it's a bit of an effort for me which I sometimes think I cna't be bothered with, but it's usually worth the effort.

I was pretty social in my 20s, and have been becoming less and less social as I got older - but I did not hate it. I do not love the problems, but I can't do much about many of them.

Yes, I sometimes stress quite a bit before I do it. Only when I expect it though. I'm great at spontaneous conversation.

My one worst problem is that I stutter and use my hands an awful lot. :D

Sometimes I enjoy socializing. I like the exchange of ideas that comes with talk and discussion. But socialization is usually a bit stressful for me, even when it goes well.

How long I can deal with a social situation depends on how big the group is. One-on-one is usually my favorite style of communication and that I'm mostly fine with, so long as the person is fairly close to me. My Aspie friend and I can tolerate each other for days. But, mind you, we're not sitting down and having a face-to-face conversation the whole time. We're usually doing something, either together or independently. We co-exist well.

Groups, though, I have more trouble with and can only tolerate them for a short while.

I enjoy socializing, but I also enjoy my time alone.

I usually enjoy socializing but... Even though I've grown fond of all the planning inside my head during social situations (I am currently trying to import knowledge from Sun Tzu's Art of War towards socialization) It's always stressing when meting new people, in fact currently I'm trying to adapt to my new office, it's funny but also very annoying.
