A programming gig in Chicago exclusively hires people with Aspergers/high functioning Autism.

Positive discrimination. I like it. I just mean that because men who have been fired so more women can get jobs was referred to as positive discrimination.

I wish there was a company like that near me. I'm not so much on the tech side but can sketch, make graphics, take photos and write fairly well.
My disability job network which has been helping me find work for over two years is trying to get me a job as a printer in a photo dept. Thing is the store is really huge and crowded.

Being 25 and unemployed sucks.

I'd love to hear how their sales people deal with the aspies.

I am trying to do the same thing for my startup with programmers. I just think that programmers are hard to come by in general, asperger's or not. Esp. considering early startup economics.

While working in a workplace with exclusively Aspergers/high functioning Autism people sounds great, I am not sure I would agree with "positive discrimination". How can they legally get away with this. They are really asking for trouble.

Yes, I would like to work around people like that, but as a practical issue, it is discrimination and shouldn't be (isn't?) legal.
