IRC network for aspies

Ok, for a while i've been thinking about making an IRC network for a while now, but i could never thing of a theme. Now, i thought: Aspergers! I'm planning to make a IRC network for people with aspergers, HFA, etc. It will have a channel for: General, Teens, kids, parents, computers, art, music, etc.

If you think you'd like to help, contact me on freenode #wrongplanet, msn messanger, email, pm, or post here. It doesn't matter how much you'll help, just that you help. Please no messages like "that is stupid".

If you do this, that would be cool.

There are gazillions of networks already though. Establishing and maintaining a new network is a heck of a lot of work. Are you sure you have that much free time?

IRC is a chat system, like IMing. When you IM, you send a msg to a server. then it sends it to the other person's computer. with irc, you send it to the server your using. then, it sends it to all the other servers. those servers send the msg to whoever is in the channel.

sounds nice, but theres a problem, with chat.freenode.net and the cgi(webpage) (perl) based version you cannot use differant channels. your stuck on #wrongplanet only because of only one server. or the way the website or irc was set up. i'm thinking can maybe there be an update or use of differant server so we can change the channel??? whenever I try to change the channel I only get is the "access to that channel is blocked" I have a feeling a few of you will say downalod irc well i'm the kind of person who won't download unless its a critical thing that is needed on the computer. good luck ashfire

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ grrrrrr!! !! sorry about double post!! ! i clicked submit then noticed a mistake and clicked stop in browser and it got to wp.net faster then it can be returned for fix and problem was with the word download. i wanted to correct it so i dont get slammed with the grammer police.

I'd be up for such a thing.

I already go on one that was established by a few people on the autism spectrum for those on the autism spectrum. Most times it's good. Every IRC channel/network has its issues at times.
