As a kid I read and re-read Buster comics obsessively. I guess I learned quite a lot about conversation and humor from the comic book characters and their dialogue and behavior. I'm wondering if there are any similar (humorous) modern comics like this out there anybody could recommend?

Do kids still read comics these days?

In my youth they were huge.

The Beano, the Dandy, etc.
