Sit n Spin was my favorite " toy" if you could call it that and I think I had it up until 3rd grade when my mom put it in the basement. Do they still make these? It felt comforting and I could spin for a long time with it, and I had an epiphany when I saw it in the basement and thought about how when I was little I was using it to stim and didn't realize it. Then my mom had to be mean and give it to Goodwill. Hopefully someone who'd enjoy it just as much as I did will get it. Has anyone else had one of them, and did you like using it?

Never. Made me too dizzy.

My oldest son had one (he didn't use his either) so they were still selling them in the late 1990's. I don't know about now.

I got one as a Christmas present in 1975. I used it for a few years while I was little, until I learned to walk well, then I could spin around by myself.

the ones for sale now arent nearly as sturdy as when i was a kid. i loved mine, so i got one for my younger boys. the plastic was so flimsy, the top part would lean when they tried to spin at more than a snails pace. eventually they broke the top off with just occasional use. i was probably more disappointed than they were.

I remember them from when I was a small child; I don't remember my opinion on them, though.

Oh yeah. I definitely remember enjoying those. I can remember trying to play with them even after I got so big that my weight made it difficult to spin.
I also used to get in trouble on the playground for sitting on a swing and twisting it around and around and then letting it spin free. Supposedly that is not the proper way to play on a swing.

I had one when I was little, and I loved it.

Oh MY! It was my absolute favorite pastime from earliest childhood. I seriously couldn't be stopped, and somehow never got sick. Of course, it's not like fascination with spinning things is common among aspies or anything...

I loved those things. I never had one of my own but at friends houses I spun myself silly.

My eyes got really big when I saw this thread as it must have activated a connection in my brain that had been dormant for 15-20 years.

This could be taken in so many different bad directions. I will attempt to stay classy.

It would probably be the same thing except the adult sits n spins with no clothes on.
