The problem is, I don't know in which areas I fail. I feel like a lot of my problems have gone away with aging but there might still be stuff I don't know about or fail to recognize. I don't want to ask anyone else about this in real life. Is there any other way I can understand this?

I have this problem too. Sometimes I think that I actually am normal and this is all in my head, but other times I look back at myself and I can kind of see just how much I do stand out. And even then, what makes me stand out the most is probably what I'm not even capable of noticing. I can't help but wonder what all there is that I do not see. And by the way, is that a Lamborghini Gallardo?

Have you seen photo or video of yourself interacting with other people? It has to be after you forget you are being filmed, but in my case the errors became much more obvious.

much too obvious in fact.

I never really felt I was that abnormal. I didn't noitice I spoke more monotone than others, or that the average person isn't as clumsy as me, or that I didn't react properly to social interactions. Sure I knew most people considered me a little different, but I still thought I was within the normal ranges.

I think it is really hard to know the subtle differences that an NT will pick up on (even if they can't say exactly what it is, they can tell something is awkward).

But I think the recording thing is good. Whenever I was recorded at school (just voice) I was always embarassed how different my v.oice sounded from everyone's (and not in a good, unique kind of way).

I suggest that if Kruger wants to appear more NT-like, then he is going to have to find some time to practice and really commit. It's not easy. But, some aspies can actually pull it off -good luck!
