And here I always thought that was what they intended.
It was one of the few things I could never figure out a workaround to escape, at least most of the time. I learned to endure it - surviving my own parents taught me that much - but I always thought I was an idiot for being so intimidated by a big room full of people all making noise, until I figured out I had AS.
Now - that's how my brain is wired. Anyone who doesn't like it can deal with it...
