My seven year old jumps up and down nearly all the time. He's just very bouncy. It could be a stim or part of his ADHD or maybe he just likes jumping.
Anyway, for a while (past year or so) he scratches his feet a lot and says, "itchy" whenever his shoes are off and he is sitting down. I just assumed it was because of dry skin, a mild grass allergy, or sand from the playground. Recently, the word "itchy" has evolved into "ouchy" and I am not sure if his understanding of the word is unclear, or he actually feels pain. Last night we found cuts on his foot that looked like they could be from fingernails gouging his skin.

So here is what I am wondering - Is there such a thing as jumping too much? Is there a possibility whatever sensation he is experiencing, be it pain or itchiness, is a result of foot trauma or something?
