I seem to have the attention span of a rock. I can't stay focused on hardly anything, and it sucks. I have trouble reading, because I will get distracted very easily and then have to start reading the paragraph or sentence all over again. Oh, and don't get me started on driving. I can't do it... I scare myself and feel like I'm going to crash because of my lack of attention to where I'm going. So as a result I don't drive much, in fact I avoid it as much as possible.

So what is everyone else's attention span like? Are you like me?

My attention span is very broad and deep. I can focus intensely on even the most trivial things for long periods of time, and when I'm at the top of my game, I can multi-task excessively, keeping track of a half-dozen or more things at once. It's very taxing though.

Varies. When I'm interested in something, I can stay focused for hours and hours.

When it isn't, I can't. But then I frequently go out of my way to focus my attention on other things. I've got more important things to do like program :P

I think you posted the same thing twice.

... That would explain why I gave roughly the same answer twice, thinking that it might not have posted.

I work/concentrate best when I'm doing a million different things at once. My boss has ADD so we work together well - I'm the only one in the office who can "handle" her working style.

Don't worry that much about driving, once you get used to it, it becomes an instinct, your body continues to drive while your mind wonders off anywhere. Red lights, stop signs, everything gets automatically handled, well, at least that's how it works for me.

My attention span depends directly on my intrest in a subject and the challenge it presents. I might not like or but intrested in a project but if it is difficult I can stay focused and if I find it intresting the well I can get lose in it.
Simple repetive tasks like daily reports are just impossible i can't even remember that I am supposted to do thm till someone starts looking for them. I usually have to do a weeks worth at a time.
