Sudden noise and total sensory shut down
I was really a danger to myself at a point today. I was doing something I should never do, crossing when the sign says to proceed with caution (the flashing hand, I'm a pedestrian). I got halfway across the intersection when suddenly a group of motorcycles behind me roared to life. I lost it. My vision blacked out. I lost sense of where I was. Sound was there but it was meaningless. I came back to my senses in the middle of the street. This has happened before but not in the middle of a busy intersection.

Eeeeeeeek.
Yeah. My senses shut off a lot, and I would not want to be in the middle of the road when I did it.
