I ended up being given a necklace as a gift from this group.

Wow. I'm not sure I could bring myself to wear it.

I don't get it. A puzzle?

I've never myself felt as though I'm a piece of something larger, someone or thing that lacks any real definiton or shape except when put together with others.

The more I think about it, the more backwards using puzzle pieces to raise autism awareness is.

If I had to choose a trinket to represent Autism Spectrum folks, I'd opt for something more along the lines of a very precision opaque cube or sphere.

I'd rather wear the 1965 Kinks logo across my chest. Let the world know that I have a special interest, and I'm not embarrassed about it. 8)
