What is all considered stimming? I dont know what my husband does to stim although I do have a few thoughts. He chews his tongue when nervous or thinking or sometimes just sitting there. He bites his nails (is that one?). He also does this weird thing with his tongue when he is about to say what he is thinking where its kinda in the front of his mouth and he breathes in past it and it makes a noise. I can ALWAYS tell when he is about to say something because of this. It drives me bonkers. I dont know if it is stimming, it is unconciously done I am sure. He told me he used to rock back and forth when he was younger and that anyone in his family would remember it. He curls his toes while sitting down and puts pressure on them. I dont know if any of these are considered stimming, I am not really sure what the purpose/point of it is. Ive been reading but hubby is at work so I will have to ask him when he gets home.
