I just found one online near where I live. It is quite new and everyone there is so old. Some are parents of children with aspergers. I don't know about you, but I don't feel comfortable going to these meetups I wouldn't see the point. Some don't even have aspergers. I guess its at least a little better than normal NT social events, since people can talk about aspergers. So are people in your support groups have a wide variety of ages and backgrounds?

People in my group are around my age, I think that is most suitable.

it varies but im one of the yougest im 21 officially the group is for 19 + but there are few that age that come and not everyone comes every month to the meetings so most of the time im the youngest but occasionally the others come who are a little younger

but there are people much older than me majority are in their late 20's and 30's and 40's there are a few who are older i think the oldest person is in his early 60's

Late teens to sixties. Pretty wide spread.

Same. There's quite a range.

I don't know any Asperger's support group. I'm sure they must exist in Preston. Possibly.

I don't know the ages of the people in my support group. But I am sure that my boyfriend and I are the oldest there. There are only about 4 people who show up with any kind of regularity, and others both older and younger who have come and gone. A few people only showed up once. One guy kept passing gas and rocking and humming. He never came back. Another guy was actually in forensics, and was questioning whether he was on the spectrum. He never returned, either. I wish more people with come, with more regularity.

This IS my support group. I guess I should venture out to an "IRL" group sometime.

I don't go to support groups, but in the places I do go, I think it ranges from children to 70s and above.
