Sure, there are days that I don't leave the house or talk to anyone online. :lol:

Exactly what I was thinking.

Yup. If I think I got through the day without bumbling something, that means there's something huge that I forgot to do.
:!: I once went without renewing my driver's license for months.

Oh yes but sadly I did a dumb one today. I just have to pay more attention to what I read on the label when I am shopping. :oops: I feel so stupid and absent minded and blind to society I really gotta get out and pay more attention.

I don't think I've ever had a mistake free day in my life.

I don't think it's possible for anyone to have a mistake free day in the broad sense of the statement.

but in relation to social aspects of life, no, I don't think I've had a mistake free day. however, the mistake-ridden days come to memory more quickly than the one's without

Every day is mistake free. Then the alarm wakes me up.

If only I'd read this thread earlier, I could have beat you to this line.

Hah! No. Even being home most days I manage to f**k up socially.

Yesterday I insulted a friend and all I was doing was trying to find a way to actually talk. See, I can converse semi-normally as long as the other person does most of the work. He wasn't doing any of it. I pointed out a major flaw in an analogy then told him we had nothing to say to each other when he got all uppity over it. >.<

Reminds me of this quote I keep seeing around recently;

Quote:
If you want to increase your success rate, double your failure rate.

I think the mistake people make about making mistakes is that they are to be avoided at all costs.

I agree, Moog. I don't avoid social situation because I'm afraid to make a mistake. When I do, I chalk it up as a learning experience and move on.

I do, however, avoid most social situations because it gets loud and people inevitably touch me. No touchie. :-(
