I went to the college campus (which I'm going to in the Fall.) and met all my current online teachers and my Spanish teacher (for the Fall.). First off there was this black girl (who I figured was already in Spanish so I let her talk to the teacher first). The teacher when she was talking to her refered to me as that "friend sitting out there" After the black girl left the teacher was like "She wasn't your friend was she?" I said no. She then said sorry like 3 times and once in e-mail.

I don't get NT's thinking me being nice to someone equals that girl being my friend (I'd never met her. I tried small talk with her (before the teacher arrived) and that failed miserably (I should of kept my mouth shut!) While eating in the cafeteria I hear all this chatter/laughing and felt out of place. It was nice though the Sociology teacher said I should get into research NOW (BTW I'm just at the general level getting my AA and he suggests Research!)

The Spanish teacher mention I'm someone that wants to be here. (Which she is right) COME on what student would meet there future teacher 4 months in advance?! LOL! I'm even doing an "Aspie" paper for Philosophy which that teacher loved the idea (he doesn't know much of AS and my issues related to it.) So he can learn. :-) It was an ok experience but I did feel out of place. Does anyone feel this way at a job/campus etc.?

I feel this way quite often no matter where I go. At work, I sometimes get people looking at me weird even though I think I have made a valid point. And when I am out with friends/my other half, they all walk in a row and chat and I'm always the one left walking behind them, unable to walk with them or be included in the conversation. So yeah, I feel like this a lot.
