So I hate my life right now.

It seems I cannot sleep. Okay, well I can. But what ends up happening is I sleep for 5hrs, wake up can function for about only 5 to 6hrs and then have to go on to take a nap, that nap last another 5hrs.

I keep sleeping in 5hr segments. Instead of the full 8hrs.

I have always slept in segments, but this is starting to affect me in school when its time for my sleep and I am exhausted I start to drift. Thank god I keep myself focused enough.

I've always been an insomniac...........it takes me about 2 to 3 hours to fall asleep on average........................

Sucks :(

With meds, I can keep a 24-hour rhythm, but it's a struggle. Now that I've graduated and have nothing to do except play video games, I've let myself slip. I have a neuropsych test on Tuesday, and I really need to get some sleep before that. I was dead set on waking up at 8 AM this morning, but noo, I just had to sleep until noon again. And I dozed off in the evening too. So I decided to stay up the whole night again and go to bed the next evening.

Based on the research I've done online, it's just something you have to live with. Melatonin may help. I tried it for a month: nothing.

And I just suck. I pulled an all nighter last night and have to get ready for school in like 1hr or so.

I hate myself right now.

Sleep is destroying my plans at the moment. It is incredibly hard for me to sleep currently and I have to be up early to do all the things I want to do and I find myself stagnant some days when I really want to be doing stuff. My insomnia makes it too easy for me to fall back into bad habits.

I think Cardio Exercise in the day should be good to counteract this.

Why is your inability to sleep making you feel badly about yourself? It's not something that is within your control, so you are not at fault.
