So, have you ever had the pleasure of observing your facial expressions when you're talking to someone else in real life? What did you personally observe and thought about it?

I caught myself in the reflection of a window and, dang, I have to admit my facial expressions appeared stilted and a bit "weird". I'm starting to think this was the basis of the many "You're weird" accusations of years past, and I'm probably on the broad autistic phenotype.

A bit weird is an understatement. For me it's more like weirdness on a FUBAR scale.

Seeing myself on video I noticed only my mouth moved.
