I hear all of the time that aspies are generally not social and when they are they find it difficult. While I know what it's like to find it difficult, I personally haven't had the expreince of not desiring to be around other people. Sure I get socially stressed and can easily spend several days by myself. However the majority of the time I do desire the company of others. For me however I am VERY weird and not on cue about 99% of the time. My friends seem to find my quirks endearing [I'm incredibly lucky in that regard], however I still find social situations hard and stressful, even if I do desire them.

I'm just wondering, is this normal for an aspie? Or can it be normal?

Yes, aspies can be like that. However, a lot of people with Asperger's will enjoy interaction with people outside their own age group and tend to not hang out with peers very much. That doesn't mean it's not possible though.

well..... there is some truth in that for me. I tend to feel less stressed when I'm around people older than I am. Most of my freinds are peers..... but I find they also make me feel the most stressed. If I'm around them to much I'll literally lock myself in my apartment for about 3-4 days to sort of "recover"
