Hi there - thanks for your feedback, sorry if it was a little too much information haha. I dunno after I posted this I can't stop thinking and it's making my OCD worse. Maybe sharing was a bad idea right now. I will hang about the forums though and see what more information I can find.

Wow... thanks for sharing. You definitely have an interesting life history! I wouldn't call it a textbook case of Asperger's - it sounds almost like you have a mix of everything. I think a lot of the symptoms you describe having as a child could be at least partly related to your exceptionally high intelligence, so it's difficult to detangle that from Asperger's symptoms. I wouldn't say you don't have it either, personally I wouldn't be game to diagnose you! I'd call you an outlier, definitely.

Irrespective, you're more than welcome here, we're definitely an odd bunch and there are other people here on the spectrum who are also highly successful in their chosen fields (although not all of us are like this).

Also, don't be worried if people aren't replying. Your post is very long and quite complicated - a lot of us here have executive dysfunction and would find it very difficult to assimilate all the different threads of information in your post and then try to compare only the relevant threads with Asperger's characteristics. For this reason I found your post difficult to reply to. I hope you're still around!

That was a very interesting post, indeed. Thanks for sharing!

I think you definitely have some strong Aspie traits, but it seems like there's some OCD and ADHD in there too! Well, the ADHD could be related to general executive dysfunction, and there does seem to be a strong correlation between that and Asperger's (at least from what I've seen). Either way, it sounds like you've dealt with quite a lot, but have somehow managed to succeed despite the difficulties. I think that's something to be proud of!

Anyhow, though, welcome to Wrong Planet! I hope you enjoy your stay here. :D
