How to get adult diagnosis of Asperger's?

Hi, I am 55 and live in a small town in NC - the closest big city is Winston-Salem. I have always been somewhat 'different' and wonder if I have Asperger's. How do I find someone who could diagnose me - it would set my mind at rest to know there is a reason behind things.
Thanks for any suggestions - Emmagene

Do a google search for Autism services Winston-Salem. Something should pop up. Contact them asking for a list of Psychologists in your area that specialise in the autism spectum disorders. Contact the psychologist and set up an apointment. Some psychologist work on a sliding scale for payments so ask around if you have no medical insurance. It took three months for me to get an apointment I think but it was worth the wait.
