I'm uninsured and unemployed, but based on all the research I've done I am 99% sure that I have AS. I feel the need for help in finding and maintaining employment, and in going back and completing school.

What's the best way to go about getting an evaluation? If money wasn't an issue, I would just search the internet and find a doctor. But I don't have many financial resources at my disposal.

What country are you in? If States, go through the OVR. They will send you to be evaluated and pay for it.

Yes, I am in the USA. I have never heard of OVR, but I will look into it. Thanks for the tip!

I'm sorry. I have heard of this. In Maryland, they call it DORS, Department of Rehabilitative Services or something. I am in the process of applying for services through them, but I was under the assumption that I would need a prior diagnosis.
