is what I done made/wrote (I also synesthesia and a bunch of other things). I got tired and frustrated with trying to explain things to people so I made this;

You can read it online by clicking this sentence.

I've sold over 30 of them, even though they cost $100 to print/sell, but most people can't afford $100 and I don't want them to pay $100. If a publisher takes it, the price will go way down. I finally have an agent, but getting a publisher is going to be even harder, as the book is without precedent and doesn't fit in a category.

So I have a petition going, asking people to take a look at the book and, if they like it, write a little something about why it should be published and their demographic.

Click here for the petition.

I understand if this post gets deleted, but I figured I'd give it a try.
Anyway, cheers!

I've only flipped through it so far, but it's beautiful! I will definitely look through it more thoroughly and sign. :)

My first impression is, wow... I wish I could do art as well as you! 8O Your work is beautiful!

I think creating a book to explain the way you are to people is an excellent idea! I've always thought about doing something like that myself, since apparently I'm a very difficult person to understand, even though everything I say and do makes perfect sense to me.

Thanks, mates! I'm 28 signatures from my goal now.
Doing this petition was a scary thing, because I was afraid no one would sign, but it seems to be going okay.
I still have to get a hold of some of the people who have the book, like John Elder Robison and Oliver Sacks, but I'm beginning to think it's impossible. :(

Yeay! Thanks, mate!
Now I am 24 away.
Hmmm....must think of something interesting to say to keep this thread on the front page.
Anyone here have any weird synesthesias? Not the normal coloured letter or coloured sound, but, like,auditory temprature or flavoured touch?

Velvet tastes like grape-flavoured chocolate to me and really hot days can be deafening with a low, humming fog horn..
Personally, I like that sound. :-)

i can see my knowledge and thoughts as a goo-ey 3D lava-lamp-like-landscape superimposed on the real world.... it wobbles as incorrect or insufficient knowledge is available... it is stable and rigid as there is no doubt about the correctness of the topic, answers or statements...

this has nothing to do with me also being a visual thinker at the same time... thus making my vision of the world consisting of at least three superimposed pictures at all times.

no need to say that i am extreme visual and spatial oriented...

i guess it could fit in in the synesthesia category somehow.

That sounds sort of like how I 'see' the road when I drive;

it is not as "earthly" as in your example... meaning not as recognizable in terms of "special effect" likeness! :)

i know it is very difficult to make a picture of what you see and perceive, that precisely shows how it looks.

i have done a few attempts, and still have not found a way to do it, since it is not static... it is extreme sensitive and dynamic and changes all the time. so i have to find a way how i can make a 3D movie, that shows how it looks... and feels. :?

not an easy job i am afraid... but i will succeed one day... i hope. 8)

EDIT:

i forgot also... i see the world with more than two eyes... and with their own conscience and awareness... sometimes first blending the picture(s) at a later point in time.

Just wanted to say, I made my way through almost the entire book, and it was very well put together, and a really neat experience, finding not only the similarities in my own life, but also learning about the different ways we each interpret this wacky world we live in.

Petition signed, and thanks for putting this out there, hope you are able to get a publisher to pick it up :)
