By hero, I mean someone that inspires you, someone that you look upto and keeps you going each day...

for me, my hero is Temple Grandin. My parents tell my autism is very much like hers, even though I see myself differently but in ways I agree. My other hero is a japanese rockstar named HITT and I have always looked up to him and felt inspired because of him.

John Elder Robison. After reading his books I started to look up to him. I hope to someday become as successful as he is or greater.

Nobody......I can admire some features of certain individuals, and I might emulate those features, but I don't really look up to anybody as an entire person, and it would embarrass me if anybody looked up to me in that way. Last person I looked up to committed suicide.

I've never really had a hero. In 1st grade there was this teacher's assistant that I thought was awesome, and looked up to briefly. His nickname was JJ, and I even went as far as to use his name on an assignment that I turned in, since he was so cool. That's all I remember about it though, so I have no idea how long that lasted, but I think it was only a few weeks.

If something asks me who my hero is, I say Giuseppe Mezzofanti (a hyperpolyglot in the 18-19th century), but I don't really care about him, I just say that so the field isn't empty. :P

I don't really have a hero tbh. There are many people I admire though.

My family and friends. Even if they are few, I really appreciate them and all they do.

Mine is a teenage family member who has fought cancer and endured a major operation in the past 12 months. He has shown bravey and dignity way beyond his years and, even though I'm not very good at saying it, I'm soooo very proud of him.

Beethoven. For breaking literally every musical rule of the classic era. And 'cause he was awesome.

Jon Thor Birgisson is a hero of mine as well.

No real heroes but here are my 2 fictional characters that dominated my life for over 20 years. I even tried to dress and talk like them. It didn't work:

1. Richard Tyson ("Perry") of Two-moon junction-because he talks like a stud and gets the women hot:

Love this quote: "The lady's got a secret, don't you? I ain't got no secrets. I ain't got nothing. Except a bike, a truck, and post office box in Clearwater, Florida."

2. Clint Eastwood-because he's as cool as they come. My favourite scene:

A Detective Viktor Burakov who caught one of the worst killers in history in Russia.

It took about a decade to do it while over coming endless frustrations from party politics and bureaucracies and antiquated methods.

I admire his diligence and refusal to give up. Following every clue as more bodies came in. He eventually had a mental break down from the horror of the case and after recovering returned to finish the job until he finally caught the monster.

I think many other people might have become alcoholics after following a case like this for a few years but he stuck it out for 8. Burakov seems like one of the most determined people I've ever heard of.
