within the past hour...i was out...stopped in a gas station to buy Rold Gold pretzel rods...the bag was changed. so it took some time to realize and accept that they were in fact the same pretzels that i had been buying for years.

I went to eat at a place called Jersey Mike's today. It's a sub shop. I was totally overwhelmed and couldn't decide what to get because I have never seen the menu before. I ended up getting my regular veggie sub, the same I get at Subway. I liked the Jersey Mike's sandwich better because it was fresher and they put more cheese on it. They also toasted the sandwich with the green peppers and onions on it. They don't do that at Subway.
I did want some time to think about the menu when I first got there but the guy behind the counter wanted me to hurry and tell him what I wanted to order.
It takes me a while to absorb and decide if I've never been someplace before. I want to stand in front of the mirror and "stare" at it a good twenty minutes before making up my mind ![]()
I went to get a haircut today and I had planned to go to the haircut place, put my name in, then go next door to Subway to eat while waiting (usually have to wait 15 minutes or so to get a haircut). When I got to the haircut place, there were no other customers, so I could have gone straight into the chair, but that did not work with my plan, so I argued with the confused hair stylist who couldn't figure out why I would not get a haircut right then when there was no waiting. Not much of a "freak out," but I'm sure she thought I was a freak.
