I used to shoot guns when I was a kid and rather liked target shooting. I never got to go hunting, and honestly I'm kind of afraid of getting shot accidentally by other hunters. I was thinking of maybe starting it up again as it would give me a chance to go out and do something if i ever get the money for bullets and a gun (bullets cost too much these days BTW!). But, I was wondering, does a diagnosis of aspergers effect your ability and legal right to enjoy these basic freedoms?

Having AS does not affect a person's rights to keep and bear arms. Being legally declared "Non Compos Mentis" might.

I don't see how being aspergic could affect how someone handles firearms.

So far as I know, there are no laws restricting gun violence against animals by Aspergians, specifically, or any other comparable "basic freedoms".

Having Aspergers might give a hunter an advantage. Most autistic people seem to notice things quicker such as a camouflaged animal.
