With NTs have you notice while you sit in the corner and are left out of the conversation that they tend to have a really great time chatting away to each other and using all there communication skills. Just smiling, being loud and having a great time

Do you think NTs being social and talking to each other is kind of like a drug too them that gives them a thrill? Belive me when i am drunk and i can communicate a lot more effectivley it really is a great feeling unlike when i am sober. I think being social to NTs gives them just as much fun as our Aspie special interests do.

I would like NT's as well as Apsies to give there opinions in this thread.

well I read when NTS socailise its like they release endophins and chemicals and dopamine which is why they like to be social

FOr autistic people there is nothing at all...Therefore we dont desire it at all...We actually can stare at for example open space or a paniting..still silent obejcts and we get these same chemical release that people get when socailising.

For example, I deliver pizas, I ahte all the chefs and waitress etc..talkign and chatting. I however soemtimes go out the reatuant and stare into the distance as its a great view of the city and people watch people on the street.

In the resatautnr I like to watch peopple eating at their table and interactign but I cant do that. I also liek to look at the italian artwork on the wall.

We apparetnly get much greater brain stimuli and repsonse to still objects..Whereas NT people get nothing from still objects.

I will try to find he articlle

I told my therapist that other people give off and pick up on "warm fuzzies" that I don't give off or pick up during socialization. I get those from objects and concepts instead of people.

Exactly like this:

We studied warm fuzzies in grade school. I liked the warm fuzzies we made from pom poms and wiggle eyes more than the warm fuzzies I was supposedly receiving when being around other people.
In fact, the warm fuzzies inspired me to try my hand at creating a warm fuzzy mountain but it was too monumental a task. Once I realized how many sacks I needed to buy from the craft store and how expensive it would be, I became disenchanted. My dream of a room with a warm fuzzy mountain inside gone out the window. Now, I have a small bundle of warm fuzzies, what I once started and had high hopes for. It's not too impressive because of it's size. It reminds me of something gloppy, like A cell mass, and I like the fact the fuzzies are all different sizes because that's how the pom poms were in the bag. I even have some warm fuzzies in the bunch constructed with glitter pom poms. I did try to keep them under a certain size, but some are really small, like a small gumball or marble.

My grade school sucked compared to yours. We did not even study the warm fuzzies. Fortunately, we did use massive amounts of rubber cement.

Are wiggle eyes the little plastic eyes with one flat side that you can glue onto things? I bought a packet of 100 wiggle eyes, and I only used 2. I'm thinking about gluing the rest onto a T-shirt to scare the bejeezus out of people. They remind me of the fish scale clothing at the mall. Has anyone noticed that a new trend seems to be shiny decorations that resemble fish scales glued or sewn onto clothing? I only know this because I just got back from Macy's. Maybe I will bring up the fish scale clothing in the next small-talk socialization torturefest to see if anyone gets any warm fuzzies from it or me.

Heh, sounds awesome. My grandma put wiggle eyes on all the stuffed animals she sewed and sold so I grew up with them. Wiggle eyes come in several sizes, from large to very tiny. Yep, wiggle eyes are the same ones people glue on stuffed animals and other things requiring eyes, like t shirts and warm fuzzies, lol. Round, flat, clear hollow plastic with black plastic pupils and white backs. Maybe someone will get creative with them like with food and make some new interesting versions of wiggle eyes.
I like spiders for the same reason, several eyes.
I also like Charlie Brown's Halloween costume.

I'm not sure what it's like for them. If it's like a drug then I'd have to say it's a highly addictive one. I've never been drunk before, but I'd imagine it would screw up my communication skills even worse than they already are.

This I think is a really true statement:

even some people when I was young used to always comment on this like I always look around everywhere. Or just stare at really weird thigns and look like im lost in a dream or stoned.

I play this game. It's fun!
Those fuzzies have the cutest eyes. They are just like the little fuzzies I made for my mountain project, except virtual of course and I have no rainbow colored fuzzies. I don't think I have that color green, either, so my fuzzies are a slightly different hue.

I release more endorphins by doing Kinks related stuff, than I do by yacking with people like a chicken with its head cut off.
