One of the most telling traits of people with AS is that they tend to focus on something very intensely, to the exclusion of almost everything else. I have two interests, computer programming and video games, that are competing for my attention and I don't know how to focus on the right one. One will let me make a good living, the other will not. Logically the choice is clear but I can't seem to let video games go and give programming the attention it needs. So, how do you direct your passions? Can you?

As an aside, how do you move threads across topics? It's something I've seen before but I'm not sure how it's done. I ask because I thought about it and I think this thread is better suited to the random discussion board. Thanks for any help.
