How do NTs do this?

I was talking to a a NT friend of mine and he says he can function through an overload (from having a lot to do). I usually shutdown and freeze up until I cool off but they don't apparently. That is unfair. I was telling my prof about this he just didn't seem to understand the shutting down part. He thinks I am telling him that so I can avoid work

As far as I can tell, it's either magic

they have far superior coping mechanisms and multitasking ability.

First of all you should have a 504 plan that allows u accommodations to help w shut downs. Why can NTs handle it? Cuz the connectivity in our brains is well organized. White matter connects to gray matter in efficient pathways. Non NTs have disorganized circuits by comparison
