I am so sick and tired of people blaming it on Mr Aspergers for their own self created problems in their sad pathetic life.
Take responsibility for your own actions, decisions and choices you have made in life.
When you blame Aspergers it feels like you are blaming me or other innocent people with Aspergers for your own failures in life.

My last name is Aspergers and I hate being blamed for your problems.

I agree. A lot of people on here, ahem especially males on the love and dating forum, want to attribute all of their problems to the fact that they have AS.

I have AS, and I take full responsibility for my actions, both my successes and my failures. I don't blame my faults on AS. I acknowledge that they are there, and that they are sometimes compounded by the fact that I have AS, but I never divert the blame from my conscious self to my neurological disorder.

It depends specifically on what the problem is.

So perhaps your Asperger's is the reason that you fail to understand why this post is highly inapropriate in this particular forum. Rant all you like about the subject but placing this particular rant here is beyond insensitive.

Kicking people when they are down is just - repulsive.

More people know about the Asperger's Syndrome. Very few people know about the Geschwind Syndrome. With my Limbic System enhanced in many factors, but impaired in other factors, the overlap of the Syndromes is more often assumed by a larger number of individuals as an instance of the Asperger's Syndrome. These individuals take actions (sometimes violently physical) based on their assumptions, mixed with their prejudices. And when I'm thus acted upon, I blame the perpetrator, not myself, nor any of my physically consequential and variously labeled Syndromes.

The U.S. Supreme Court just tossed statistical constructs of disparate impact and disparate treatment. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is based on lesser contructs than the extremely large statistical constructs of "male" and "female", so the decisive, but self-denying, Supreme Court of such Ostrich Logic will seldom be heard making a self-recognized "whine for any blame" for its bizarre logic. More Syndromes are in recorded science attributed to discovery by a Mister than otherwise, but that might be now denied statistics too, from a confused and prejudicial rattlesnake.

I don't see this in the L&D forum.

As it is a rant, I think this is the appropriate forum for it. If I were him I wouldn't know where else to put it.

I think this is mostly pertainable to a person who doesnt try like doesnt try to make friends because they have aspergers or isnt to go to school or have a job because of aspergers. I work my ass harder then most aspies and NTs out there and I still find a way to blame aspergers for my short comings in a lot of ways. Doesnt mean i use it as an excuse and dont try. Doesnt mean I dont put in the effort to make friends, talk to people or trying to attend to people on the job. But guess what its still not good enough. I get blamed for not talking to people because it doesnt look like im trying. Well heres some news for you, Im working harder then any of you damn NTs ever had to work socially in your damn lives.

Hmm...I'm putting the blame on my AS for chiming in here.

Repulsive is right. The many problems due to this condition are real and legit. Besides I haven't seen alot of lame excuses.

I agree, I'm going to move this to general autism discussion.
