Even after all the tough times we've been through, and come through, my NT wife has decided to divorce me.
I feel so helpless and hopeless about life, now. And I've been learning all the evil things even PREACHERS have said about me!
My heart is SOOO broken!
Are there any Christian Aspies here who would be willing to comfort and support me?

Thanks
JWS

I don't know your situation. Why is she leaving? What did they say that was bad? Aspie's are all different.

I believe this belongs in the love and dating forum. I would be happy to talk to you. I have been married to an Aspie for 17 years but I am not an NT

Although I'm not baptized, I feel with you, if it can be for your comfort. I'm very sorry it has happened to you. I wish you have strength to bear it.

My situation is that she has said she accepts me as I am, but I don't believe she actually does. She has a lot of trouble communicating with me. I have been diagnosed Autistic (Aspergers, and apparently obviously am) and she has rejected me as a husband. She said she loves me as a friend, but that is no comfort from my perspective.
I have tried to find Autistic friends here, too, but so far with no success. :(

If she has decided there is not very much you can do. There is no one answer to the friend question other than keep trying different things and don't give up.

This.

I'm Christian and an aspie as well, and although I am not very good at offering comforting words...I always enjoy making (online) friends and chatting. If you need someone to talk to, I'm usually on MSN or browsing the boards here...I rarely stray far from my computer LOL.
