I think it's easier to put into mathematical format though. The way NT is often defined is as someone who is not on the autistic spectrum. Using some statistics that suggest that 1 in every 100 children born are on the autistic spectrum, it's pretty easy to define the NT Ego as this.

Human Ego - 1% = NT Ego (with some wildly huge but unknown variable for standard deviation).

And this would include not only humans residing in countries where the culture is primarily western, but people in Africa, Asia, and well, anywhere humans happen to reside.

All humans have different goals, different approaches to socialization, different ways of dealing with problems. They have different things they're insecure about and have unique ways of dealing with those insecurities. Some humans have behavioral disorders or psychological issues that skew their view of the world and the people around them.

It's like asking for an objective definition of beauty.

Can you explain the question? Very little context.

This is an interesting question, the answer to which is revealed gradually through interaction with NTs. The more one is able to answer this question, the less one is inclined to further understand it, insomuch as unfavorable sentiments towards NTs and the desire to avoid them inevitably arises.

The NT ego is one that involves intimate association between the reward centers of the brain and the social areas of the brain. The end goal of the NT ego is social glorification of the self, with the NT brain's reward centers being most strongly activated by recognition and ascent of social status. When, upon self-reflection, the NT brain determines that recognition and high social status are being acquired, the reward center is stimulated, and like a drug, the NT is motivated to seek further recognition and to further ascend social hierarchies. The NT ego takes no joy in 'things' in and of themselves, not for their beauty or for their knowledge or their exquisite intricacies, but sees 'things' predominantly as tools to further advance a social agenda.

The boastings uttered by NTs reflect this ego, and revolve ultimately around (a) validation and approval from others, (b) prompting a belief in others that the boasting NT possesses lofty social status or possessions or indulges in activities suggestive thereof.

If you have Facebook, the above mentioned traits are readily apparent in the status updates posted by many NTs.
