I really thing I could use an AS book dedicated specifically to employment/careers.
I am deciding to or not go back to school, and would like to make the right decision; I do not want to be choosing something which I later find out is not good for AS.

There are several books out there, and as usual, being AS, I am over-analyzing.
Which of the books, if you had to get ONE, would you get or are good?

Again, my primary focus is on CHOOSING a career, but wouldn't mind if it had tips on getting/staying/being a successful employee?

Is this the best one?

Is it more of a "tip" book or does it help in choosing careers?

It doesn't have help in choosing a career, but there is a wide variety of people in different careers with different problems for examples. It basically starts with your isolated area of concentration and then how to apply that in the workforce. It may not be what you need now, but something to keep in mind later if you have problems.

I really need a book which can help me figure out which career path to go on.

I am deciding between accounting (always mentioned for AS people) and finance.

I need a career which has a predictable workday, a degree of independence (given work, trusted to do it, not micromanaged) and good work life balance (40-50 not 60-80 hours).
It really would help if there is a workbook for AS to help in choosing a better path.
Anybody know of one tailored for this need?

I asked around for you and did not find a book specifically for aspies. It was suggested that you try to contact SRS and ask them to take the test that assesses your particular strengths and abilities and that this will include your aspie traits. Not specifically but generally. I really wish I could help more.
