without having to tell them? i went out with a guy and suddenly i didn't feel good and felt dizzy and walked kind of funny and he said, "Why are you walking this way?" and i got upset because he didn't just figure out i didn't feel good. i love it when people read my mind, know what kind of person i am or what i'm feeling just by sensing it somehow.
of course, i'm terrible at understanding what the other person is feeling, but i want them to guess my moods. ha ha.
i love that about dogs, that they can sense your mood and know when you're sad. and my cat could read my mind when he was young. he's lost it now that he's very old, but he always knew when i wante to take him to the vet, or force antibiotics down his throat.
i like it when people know what other people are thinking without being told even if it's not me whose mind is being read but someone else.

Hell no!

Half the time I'd prefer not to communicate with other people at all. I sure as heck don't want that communication happening without my conscious control. My brain is a weird place to navigate and I've lived there my whole life. Tourists would have too many annoying questions and make too many bad assumptions. They also tend to leave a lot of trash behind that I have to clean up afterwards.

um, I like what Zyzzy said, and so put me in the "hell no" category too! LOL My thoughts are the only place I can go to be alone and no one else is welcome there :D

I used to want people to be able to read me, because I'm reluctant to say what's on my mind but sometimes I wish people knew what I was thinking. Lately though I've grown to have little enough faith in other people that I would prefer not to be transparent.

It suits my purposes better if the thought police don't know what's I'm thinking.
Let's leave it at that. :|

My thoughts are copywritten.

At times I do want people to know when I'm not feeling well, like dizzy or something worse. But most times what I think about I don't want people to know.

I used to stop thinking around people because I thought they could read my mind.

I've only recently realized that my "Please go away and leave me alone" face looks to others like "Please stay and talk to me". It's because I hold eye contact with them and look like I'm particularly interested in them. I AM particularly interested in them, but only in their physical absence. I was told that I look "more normal" when I'm making this face. No wonder it never worked.

well, maybe if i want to banish someone from my life i should show them a little...

jokes aside, there are situations where i wished i could make clear what i meant or what was wrong without having to talk about it, but generally, no, my thoughts are my own

Hell no or else I will always be offending people. I can't imagine how many beat ups I would get a day.

But sometimes I do wish people could read my mind so they would understand how I feel or what I have been going through and understand without misunderstanding me and misinterpreting.

But there are things I don't want people to know about so I am glad they can't see my thoughts.
