Everyone always talks about the bad sounds...I thought it might be an interesting change to talk about the sounds we love!

I love nature sounds: a breeze rustling the leaves of a tree, leaves and twigs crunching under my feet, a soft brook, waves, some birds, crickets, and I also like the sound of crackling bonfires.

What about you??

Besides a number of musical tunes which always seem to make me happy, I find the purring of a cat to be a beautiful noise. I only wish there were more animals which make similar sounds. I used to be pretty good at reproducing it and I still like trying to do so.

I find it incredibly relaxing while I'm listening to the movement of water. Gentle waves or rain. I am at peace during that time. Which is good.

a Running River
The ocean
The generic nature sound sitting in the woods
Cats purring
Typing (depending on the keyboard. Laptop keyboards are much preferable to desktop keyboards as a whole, However, random hitting of keys doesn't sound good, though typing things out does)

Rain, typing, heartbeats, bubbling water, zippers, towerbells/churchbells, people singing to themselves when they think no-one can hear them and sometimes melancholy whistling, like at the end of Otis Redding's 'Sittin on the the Dock of the Bay'.

I like some people's voices if they have a smooth, soft type. They sound so comforting. Unfortunately when I hear that I enjoy the sound too much to actually hear what they're saying. And people usually don't want to waste time once they realize you're not listening.

I love the ubiquitous sounds of nature; especially the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. I love singling out and focusing on the sounds of specific instruments while listening to classical music. I love the sound of a female who has a soothing voice. I go fishing a lot, so I really enjoy all the sounds that water makes. When I'm driving, I like the sound that the turn signals make.

I like hearing my kids being silly with each other. They have their own language.

Also water noises like rain, the ocean, fountains
