Is it me or does it seem like NTs dont really care about information unless it has some type of imediate emotion to it. this is really annoying to me and this just makes having a high IQ seem useless when you have a low EQ. im just tryna figure out how do they even know what the hell is going on around them.

Unfortunately, the NT society puts way more emphasis on social skills than intelligence (unless you're REALLY, REALLY smart).

And then they won't be able to understand what you are trying to convey to them. Best play a musical instrument. They like music.

Unfortunately, in our society EQ does mean more than IQ. It sucks sometimes for people like us, but that is how it is. My IQ is well above average. My EQ (if it were someone's IQ) would be equivalent to severely mentally handicapped. It is my EQ that affects my life, not so much my IQ.
