In some ways, it is kinda the kids fault. He should have said something.
I disagree. First of all, maybe he couldn't say something. It said in the video he can't talk much, so maybe he wasn't verbal enough to say, "um, hello...are you taking me to day care?" Secondly, I knew before they even said anything that she should have checked the bus. That is just protocol. Bus drivers check the bus before letting the first passengers on, and at the end of the shift. Not to mention, was she even using her rearview mirror? Those are supposed to give you a view of the entire bus. Had she used it, she would have seen the kid sitting there. He wasn't a small boy--had she been diligent, the incident would not have occurred. Oh, and the video also said that he was the only kid riding the bus that day. Um...so she let's a passenger on, makes no stops, and thinks he somehow got off the bus? She must have been daydreaming the entire time--Such a lack of attention when she is supposed to be responsible for this child. I don't blame the father for being angry about it.
