I wear a dress no matter what day of the year it is. and my dress is never what everyone else would wear, always a one piece, generally with sleeves, I like longer ones better, one one would wear my dresses unless they lived 300 years ago... and I never do my hair... and I only talk about science 90% of the time. and I love being bare-foot or wearing crocs. so people can see my disorder a mile away! although I have never been officially diagnosed yet...

but I don't know if that corrisponds with having aspergers... but... idk... I never researched that!

I like to wear dresses, and skirts, too. When I was a teen, I made a lot of my own clothes, and made a dress. Once I wore it to a part time phone soliciting job, and got 3 kinds of h*** from all the other kids there. Maybe I'll start wearing dresses and skirts more often. I especially love loose dresses that have no waist, they are so comfortable.

I dont think that is enough for a diagnosis, but you are my kind of girl. I keep my hair in a bun all the time because I do not like to do my hair, and it is very hot where I live. I cut it all out one time, but then I had to go to the saloon every month to keep the cut right, and I hate going to the saloon, so I am wearing it long again. I also LOVE long and loose skirts, and wear crocs almost all the time. I think crocs is the best shoe ever invented! My topic is ot science, but movies. (By the way, I am NT).

Hmmm. Aspergers? Well, there's a simple question that can answer that - did you have delayed speech development? If yes, you don't have Aspergers.

I used to wear dresses all the time, but I've switched over to jeans and shirts. Before dresses it was blouses and skirts. I never do my hair either.

As far as it goes, someone mentioned in another thread today that a lot of people on the spectrum have a "uniform," clothes they like to wear frequently (not the same clothes, but the same look). It could be a sign. My problem with hair is that I can't seem to hold on to "how to do stuff with it." I've learned various things but rapidly forgot them when I didn't have someone to supervise/help.

I haven't worn a dress since I was 3 or 4 years old, although I wore a school dress up until I was about 8. I stopped wearing skirts then aswell. I never wear dresses or skirts now. And I don't like wearing anything with buttons (apart from jeans). I really do not like wearing buttons. The trouble is, I'm going to be made to wear things with buttons on when I start my job in the supermarket! Yuk!! !! !! !! !

Does a lisp count as delayed speech development? If not, than, nope! Never had one!

I do have trouble pronouncing words like "lisp" and the worst one yet is "photosynthesis" and don't even get me started with the whole "sally sells sea shells by the sea shore" thing... but outside of that... I never had a issue with words... except that I loved using words I heard in movies or games, like saying "papa" instead of dad. (fievel goes west...)

I like wearing jumpers. And I love Crocs. I enjoy talking about medicine.
