I'm not entirely sure what diagnosis I should be referring to myself as since I've had several over the years.

At first I was diagnosed with Aspergers. Then I was diagnosed with "Autism." Then it was Autism and PTSD. So I'm not really sure what to classify myself as. Now I have multiple-sclerosis on top of all that. I think I've built up this overestimation of myself in that I think a normal person simply wouldn't be able to cope with all the issues I've been dealt. I wonder at why I haven't just given up on everything and I chalk it up to being on anti-depressants.

Do any of you have to deal with illness on top of your aspergers?

I was diagnosed with ADHD and Tourette's as a child. But I don't show many of those symptoms anymore. When I was 15 I had a psychotic episode. When I was 16 I was diagnosed AS. Now I have diagnoses of paranoid schizophrenia and Asperger's syndrome, as well as "unofficial" diagnoses (a social worker trained in mental health said it's 90% certain I have these) of OCD and dyspraxia. I'm also very short-sighted (as well as having weakness in some of my eye muscles) and have on-and-off hearing problems. And I have IBS too. And Meares-Irlen syndrome.

I'm sure I missed out some of my health problems there lol.....my diagnoses cover a whole A4 page when my GP sent me a copy.

However, I am sorry to hear that you have multiple sclerosis as well as the other problems.
